The vacation homes and apartments of Senhalser Höfe are in a unique location: directly on the river, in the quiet historic village center of Senheim-Senhals at the foot of the vineyards.

Senheim-Senhals is located exactly between Trier and Koblenz, not far from many beautiful destinations along the Moselle, but also in the Eifel and Hunsrück. Explore for example Beilstein, the Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle with its dreamy alleys or the lively Cochem with the Reichsburg. Probably the most breathtaking castle along the Moselle can be found a few kilometers away: Eltz Castle – well hidden in a wooded valley, it is perched high on a rock and invites you to explore.

Or take the boat directly from Senheim harbor up the Moselle to the towns of Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel-Kues – right through the spectacular wine culture landscape.

Speaking of wine – the Mosel region is Germany’s oldest wine region and countless wineries and winegrowers offer individual wine tastings and wine walks for you in the immediate vicinity. Fancy a glass? Feel free to contact us.

Your Mosel vacation home, the perfect starting point for hikes in the surrounding area: star-shaped, every day a different breathtaking hiking trail can be explored. For example, along the Moselsteig (Germany’s most beautiful hiking trail 2016 & TOP long-distance hiking trails 2022 trekking – 1st place), the dream trails or the steepest vineyard in Europe, the Bremmer Calmont. And thanks to the bus stop around the corner, even the car can take a vacation.

Explore the Moselle by bike. Probably one of the most beautiful river bike tours in Germany (the Moselle Cycle Path) leads along the farms with us – mostly flat and most of the time directly along the river bank.

At least as exciting is a canoe tour (SUP board tour) on the picturesque river. Let yourself drift and enjoy the charming views.

Want a thrill? Then you should definitely make a trip to Germany’s longest suspension rope bridge, Geierlay near Mörsdorf in Hunsrück. Motor sports fans will certainly get their money’s worth at the nearby Nürburgring.

We, as your hosts, are always ready to help you with words and deeds and will be happy to tell you one or two insider tips on the Moselle.
